As part of our efforts to achieve our mission to support community resources through connectivity and collaboration, while promoting communication through neighborhood grants, the leaders of East Downtown Indianapolis Neighborhoods (EDIN) are proud to announce two grant opportunities for 2022.
To be eligible for any of the EDIN grants organizations must fulfill the following criteria:
EDIN Neighborhood Communication Grant:
The Neighborhood Communication grant provides neighborhoods with funds to produce a neighborhood newsletter, either electronically or on paper. For paper newsletters, the funds can be used for printing, address lists, postage, newsletter supplies, etc. For an e-newsletter, the funds can be used to buy email software such as Constant Contact and other subscriptions and materials as needed. Maximum grant request: $1,000
EDIN Neighborhood Image Grant:
The Neighborhood Image grant provides neighborhoods with funds to help create, improve, or expand the overall image of their neighborhood. This is the grant with the most creative options for the neighborhood. Funds can be used to create a website, kick start a neighborhood event, develop a logo, create neighborhood signs, add public art, etc. Projects are only limited to your creativity for promoting your neighborhood’s image. Maximum grant request: $1,000
